Help us expand

If you’ve had cross-cultural ministry experience, especially in Africa, and you understand the need for contextualized theological and pastoral training across Africa, you may be the ideal person to serve as Entrust’s president of African initiatives. In this role, you would help guide and expand Entrust’s contextualized church leadership training, already underway with established and... Continue Reading →

Passing the baton

In ministry, always be equipping people to eventually replace you. Excellent advice from long-term ministry leader and early Entrust student, Nik Nedelchev of Bulgaria. “Don’t think, ‘We [or I] will go [to any ministry location], get established and stay forever.’ Rather, as fast as possible, find, recruit, train and pass the leadership to the locals.... Opportunities to serve

When Entrust enters a new region, we take time to ask questions, listen and learn. We are called and eager to equip under-resourced Christian leaders and equally eager to pay close attention to what God is already doing. One of our staff members, John (not his real name), in Asia, has been doing just that.... Continue Reading →

Hard work

Years of hard work culminate as athletes from around the world converge on PyeongChang, South Korea, for the 23rd quadrennial winter games. Each of those athletes is there thanks to training. WWMT in Latvia

In 2014, when Entrust first offered women’s ministry training in Latvia, seven women came. Three years later, in the fall of 2017, that number tripled to 21. This seemingly slow process of focusing on training leaders and encouraging participants to disciple others throughout the year is already bearing good fruit. Praise God together with us!

Entrust staff based in Europe, including Mark Van Bebber, Rob Shaffer and Jeff A., led the course over several months. Several of the participants are husband-wife co-leaders in this dynamic church, serving... Continue Reading →

Seeing beyond

“Before I enrolled in MMD courses, I thought what God expected of me as a Christian educator was to be a good teacher for my class,” Samson* told me, explaining how he would go out of his way to meet the intellectual needs of his pupils. But when he started taking MMD courses, it was... Continue Reading →

Dimitri is Vasili’s Timothy

Vasili invested time and training in a young man at his church, Dimitri. Then, Vasili and Dimitri together invested further equipping into several young men from two churches in their hometown in Moldova. Be inspired by this real-life story of multiplication by clicking the link below.
